Here we go with the Two Pop method of rolling up a kite

Fly the kite up the window and prepare to perform a Turtle. This is where the first "pop" occurs which will be more evident in higher winds.

Give equal slack with both lines and step forward if necessary.

Next, we give the input for the roll up. the timing and intensity of this second "pop" is kite and wind dependent so some experimentation will be required.

After the "pop", immediately give a bit of slack to allow the kite to roll up.

Special Note:The Two Pop is a very kite dependent trick.Not all kites will perform this trick no matter how hard you try. It can also be very difficult if not impossible to perform in higher winds.

The first roll up is started as I come into frame.Watch my hands as I use the lines to accelerate the kite's pitch momentum to begin roll up number 2.

This is the instant I pull with both lines to generate that extra bit of pitch momentum.Different kites may require slightly different timing of this move.

First,get the kite into a fade like so.

Got it! Now,prepare to yank hard with both lines much like you would start a Flic Flac,Only harder.

The kite must go past the flare,wrap the lines and go slightly beyond the wrapped fade position.

As the kite goes through it's rotation, be sure to walk forward(or run depending on wind speed) to give the kite slack so it will rotate freely.

Ok,the rotation is complete.Next up...the input for the spin.

Here you pull hard with either line to get the kite to spin 360 degrees or more.

Note that different kites may require more or less rotation before you can properly execute the spin

First,we'll look at how to position the kite for the Superstart. You want the kite with it's back towards you with the lines coming over the trailing edge.

First, let's view some Rolling Susans. Watch the pilots hands for the inputs required. Kite:Frenezy Evolution

The Rolling Susan is entered from a horizontal line of flight.

This input kills the forward momentum and puts the kite on it's back with the nose pointing partially downward.

The Flic Flac is started from a Fade as shown here.

Begin the trick by pulling hard and evenly on both lines. This will cause the kite to go nose down toward the Flare or Pancake position.

The pancake is achieved. Limit your slack to allow line tension to "catch" the kite in the "nose away" position.
